Two weeks ago my Adata Premier Pro SP900 250gb DIED....
I was playing WoW pc crash. Reboot no SSD detected knew it died.
I lost:
Tweaked windows 8.1 that i instilled 6 days before and was working on optimization for 15 hours over weekend :(
My whole wow interface that i was using for 6 years
And 150gb of installed games with saves :(
I wanted to make backup on following weekend after i totally finished with my windows installation.

I got myself ssd as soon as they came out 30gb one YEARS back to replace my 36gb WD Raptor..

Now first time in like 3-4 years i have system on HDD.
On brand new Toshiba/Hitachi 1TB so called fastest 1tb drive that i got same day as ssd died.

ITS SLOW AS ****

How can people work on PCs with no ssd in them nowadays ?? I would rather have 2 core 2ghz cpu and ssd than 5ghz i got now without ssd.

Everything loads IT LOADS :(
OCUK sent my drive back to manufacturer cause it was 10 months old... 3years warranty in theory but have not lasted 1 year. And i was not using it hard.

Conclusion ?? BUY SSDs guys and you will never EVER look back. AAAA and backup your stuff :P

I miss my SSD so much :(

Yup cause not a single WD drive died on me since 286 times.
All **** ones are Samsung and seagates.... Those died on me each time.
I got 3 year old baracuda used as storage drive that got bad sectors with almost no sue on it !!!!

I do back up between my PC's, so my PC, Laptop and HTPC all have a copy of essentials at least.

I agree, any non-SSD device is so painfully slow, it's horrible.

When my main pc died I turned on my old faithful.pc it took nearly 2 minutes to become usable and then I turned it off lol and rushed to fix my main one instead.

Painful.
