I need a cryptic clue..

OK here is the story.

I have purchased 3 Pandora charms for my girlfriend and a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Le female perfume which comes in a tall metal round tin. I have put the tin, wrapped up in the Pandora bag, one of those fancy type ones, and also wrapped the bag too.

The 3 Pandora charms come in a little box about the same size as those xmas tree decorations that resemble little presents about 1.5" square. My idea was to wrap the 3 charm boxes in the same or similar paper that the tree decorations are in and hang them from the tree. I am sure she wont notice them there as I will be placing them fairly close to the trunk of the tree so they wont be as noticeable. So the Pandora bag which now contains the Perfume is a little red herring. She will open it probably expecting a heavy amount of Pandora charms but will only contain the can with the perfume.:D

Now, here is the hard bit. I have got a nice xmas card for her and would like to also put another small card in the xmas card which will contain a clue to the whereabouts of the charms.

What I need off you guys/gals is a cryptic clue as I am no good at making one.

Bits of info that might help:
1.The xmas present decorations are wrapped in gold paper with gold ribbon.
2.The tree has Pine cones on the branches.
3.There are some blue coloured crackers placed on the tree.

True. However i do like my 'Au' bit. 100% sure she wont know what that bit is a bout. Oooh how about making it an internet search think. eg.. I could use technical and scientific terms and she will have to check it out on internet to work out what they are

Au - gold, presents wrapped in gold
Spruce - Xmas tree ( she might know this)

This clue will lead to something good,
normally it is made from natural wood.

if no one can suggest anything else I think I might go with this...
 
Ok for the first of the three charms I will type up a note with this and have it folded up inside her Xmas card. This will point her to the first one and inside the charm box I will have another clue typed up for the second charm and so on so she sees it once she opens the box.

Heck with how much those things are worth I'd make her work for it haha. Christmasy theme. Clearly got the tree covered above. Hmmm, Christmas food related a cupboard(with the turkey?) maybe? Family orientated day, maybe hidden amongst some family photos?

Not got any family photos unfortunately.

As for the house, I have an under stairs cupboard, kitchen , bathroom, dining room, front room (where tree and presents are) Utility room and Porch. Maybe use one or two of these rooms for the remaining charms
 
I am sure she will not be in a huff for the rest of christmas... haha.. She will be over the moon.:D

I have decided to make her work for them. The first one is a taster, the tree one. Inside that charm box I will put a clue pointing to another part of the house and there she will find another clue to another part of the house there she will find another clue to the nest charm. Inside that one she will find another clue to yet another part of the house etc etc, Three clues each for the last two charms.

hopefully this clue makes her go to the mirror on the wall in the hallway. On that mirror I could put:

Later on we will be fed,
all tired and full with a sleepy head

Suggesting bedroom and maybe pillows and on one of the pillows another clue.

pointing to my dogs bed. When we are going out he goes right to his bed with out being told to and he stays there as long as we are out. There she will find the second charm.

Now to do the third one.. This is harder than I first thought, thinking up these clues.
