I need a new CPU fan for AM3+ CPU

Things have moved on a bit Looking for a good but VFM CPU fan for a AM3+ CPU.

Not overclocking as it seems to be good enough for what i do but the stock fan is noisy as hell

I do have a Arctic Freezer 7 pro knocking about but I'm not sure that it will fit.

It' no better than the stock fan for performance due to the absolutely tiny base plate , however it will be a ton quieter. Had it on an fx8320 back on release , not good lol max temp was around 67c if I remember on the core .idled very high aswell at mid 40s

I'd recommend the 212 Evo but it's out of stock , I had the 412s aswell which is as good uses two thinner quieter fans in push pull instead , although the its a tad less than 30 notes for the latter . Bin out the loop for air cooling for a while hopefully someone will make a better suggestion

The case is nothing special. Thermaltake but it does the job

the Fan is loud because the heat sink is small


I would get just bigger heat sink with fan.
