Except as he's looking on the 360 he has a lot more choice...

Risen, Divinity 2, Two Worlds are all good and for something a bit more Diablo try Sacred 2.

If you fancy a JRPG (and I would) try Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia or maybe FFXIII...
