My current router (Netgear DG834G) doesnt send the wifi signal far enough although being the most stable router on the planet.

Im after something with more power and connectivity range.

Whats out there? I like the look of the newest netgear n router, is this the best at the moment ? Anything around £100 - £120 give or take a little. I guess i need good reception upto around 150 foot.

Thanks allot, i appreciate it.

P.s. it has to have the modem built in so i can plug phone line into it and the router does everything :D

I think buying an 802.11n router will only be really worthwhile if you buy the matching cards as well. I'm not happy about them at the moment as 802.11n is still only a draft and I don't trust the manufacturers to make what they build to that spec interwork correctly. And who knows whether they'll work properly with equipment made to the full specification.

I needed a bit of extra range and decided the DG834PN was what I needed. This has the MIMO technology from the 'n' routers and, so far, the stability of the DG834G. FWIW my ADSL connection was up for over 1100 hours after I installed the router before it reset for whatever reason.
