Please nobody post competitor links, but what is the best price you guys have seen for a brand new PS2 Slimline on the highstreet or online?

And yep ic1male I believe that it may already be out now with built in power supply, not sure but I know its due soon, that's the only new feature though AFAIK.
 
Are you coming across games that don't like the PS3 BC? Name some names!

I'm actually quite tempted to import a jap PS2, purely for the PS1 & 2 RPG's that have never headed west.

Namely Yakuza, and quite gutted cause I'm loving the game, Also heard of problems with Kingdom Hearts I & II

And my MGS2 doesn't read the disc sometimes after a cutscene etc. (not sure if this is the disc or the PS3 as I had it cleaned at a shop today)

Overall though I'm not impressed with the PS3 BC, it's good enough for a freebie, but I wouldn't go crying about them removing it from the 40gb's either, the real thing is the best option without a doubt.
 
This morning I saw that a certain electrical retailer is price matching the supermarket but with 10% off the £50 as well. Have a look and see if your local one will do it.
 
£50 ones are out of stock.

Most places will price match though, even knocking 10% off too so you can get them for £45
