I need a pool cue!

Its my gf's bday soon and she's been after a half decent pool cue for a while now.

Can someone recommend a decent brand for up to around 40-50 quid please please please as i have no idea! :confused:

I used to play Pool many years ago and I always used an Aeon Cue. I am not sure what they are going for now adays, but I'm sure you can google it

you won't get a brilliant cue for £40-£50, i bought mine from Rileys coz you got the equivelent spent back in table time, i paid £60 for mine and sold it for £55 on ebay, can't remember what mine was though but it had a fibreglass shaft for strength.

In all honesty I think she needs to try the cues, is there a pool/snooker shop close to you? £40-£50 can get an ok cue but you could also spend that on a "brand" cue and get something useless. Cues can be so diffrent that unless she knows the type she wants your just as likely to get something naff. (tip size, length, weight, 1/2 3/4 full length etc)

Got mine custom made for £180 but Steven Hendry won more than a few tournys with a £7.99 cue.
