I need anger management classes!

I suggest you put these pretty pretty cases behind you and build the new box in a 19" rack with 1/4" steel plate throughout.

Kick that F*er and you're off to A+E ;)

Built a box for my sister once (strictly an bay-box, she's a shopaholic), out of all sorts of crud lying around the house. Couldn't get the case on at all....took a good look "oh yeah, that'd be the case that was on it the day it dumped that album master I had almost finished" as was evidenced by the 4cm downward deflection in the middle top of both case and CHASIS!

(hmmmm, just realised I booted my winbox pretty hard when I got the "you sir, are a cretin and have bricked you board" note from OC....and have only now considered that after all those bouncy-boots, the drives might not actually have been parked......DOH!)

BTW.......
Did you warn the machine?

As in....."turn your screen blue ONCE more, you jumped up adding machine, and I SWEAR I will gut you and give the parts to random loonies on OCUK's fora"

?
Cos if you did, under new legislation I propose, you'll be able to RMA the lot and have free brand new kit.

Seriously if you give fair notice, and it still acts the amstrad, you should have a legal right to reduce it to 15KG of bits only big enough for phone charms.

Vote Goonden, you know it makes sense.

rma everything ?

try hitting the wall next time i have a hole in my wall as i fustrated of something on pc but i would not hit the pc :P

It's the ones that DON'T whack their infuriation engines once in a while that worry me. One day all those blue screen tortures could come out in public, possibly with automatic weapons.

:D

If you get that angry over a computer you need locking up tbh. or assigning to a mental hospital.

I'm pretty sure that, yes, going on a bloodsoaked kill orgy, for any reason, would be ground for one of those nice coats that button at the back.

But if you were to lock up everyone who thumped electronic/electrical/mechanical devices (especially in light of the fact that a spot of percussive maintenance is often VERY effective), the streets would be empty and the loony bins overflowing.

Have another coffee, read my posts again, smile, and be mellow ;)

Wow, even if wasting £1.5K isn't much to you, going as far as you went is pretty messed up.

Maybe you shouldn't try to build a PC any more... just buy it ready-built so you know it'll work straight outta the box, and learn to relax. OcUK do them... or you could go and see the friendly people in that place on the High Street (just don't hit any of the stuff on their shelves until you've paid for it).

Would take me months to save up for a £1500 quid machine, my missus would kill me if I did this to my setup.

When I have this moment its time to turn off the pc, walk out the house and do something else.

Agreed if its this bad. You do need classes

A fiver says everything but the MOBO and case are good to go!

(well there may have been a death in the drive bays too depending what they were up to when death arrived from above)

LOL, nothing like a good smashing. Never kicked my PC in, bust a couple of keyboards though I try to keep the smashing to cheap items. Pent up aggression is like a fart imo, better out than in ;)

I do know how to build them thanks, it's about 3 years old at a guess.

Was only good for the bin anyway with what ever "was" wrong with it before the red mist took over..
There's nothing in there I want to trust, despite over a week of testing various parts without finding fault

May I suggest finding an forum....or better a chat program with an insult room?
That way nothing would get broken, and all the "angry" people could congregrate in one place.

You can find plenty of people with "attitude" online and save money at the same time ;)

Thinking...my Bros a bit like you..one day he was rebuildng a car engine after rebore etc etc and he lost his rag and threw a screwdriver..it went straight though the radiator (for the car) standing by the wall.

Took a few weeks to source a new one and he's never thrown anything since.
