I know I keep asking questions, but I'm pretty new to this and thought you guys could help me out. Basically, I want to spend about £200 on a Graphics Card(s), but I really don't know which one to get. I'll stretch a bit more if it's worth it. For example, I was looking at buying two XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 for about £230, but to be honest, I don't know anything about them. Suggestions please.

P.S. Screen resolution is 1920X1080.

But bear in mind thos 4870 you are looking at have 512 memory, the x2 has 2gbs.
The cheapest 4870 with 1gb costs £130.

Two 4870 512mb would still be great but the more memory the better right? especially at the higher resolutions.

It's also a lot less hassle regarding power, noise etc...

p.s what cpu are u using?

I personally dont like multi GPU cards.. I always think it is better to buy a single powerful card instead...

This card here would be perfect for you IMO...

::edit::

But if you want to go for a dual GPU card here is a great deal for an ATI HD4870X2...

My CPU is a:
AMD Phenom II X3 720 @2.8 GHz without overclocking. And DavyBoy I would prefer to go with ATI as I feel you get more for your money.

This ATI is a real screamer - they are premium binned 4890 chips clocked up to 1Ghz. By far the fastest single GPU AMD card (could beat 285, not seen any reviews yet).

If you want to save money - this card is a great deal and will overclock up to 950Mhz core whithin the warrenty using their software.

Either of these cards would make for excellent gaming with your system.

The 4890 gets my vote, as others have mentioned you avoid any possible annoyances of dual gpu set-up and there is a chance that your cpu could limit 4870 x2 performance

OK then, I've gone for the 'screamer' 4890. What kind of PSU would I need to power it?

what do you mean 'screamer' ? If you are going for 4890 make sure it's the cheap one £164, that is a serious bargain, any 4-500w psu with good brand behind it will do e.g corsair, enermax, be quiet, etc....
