I need help urgent

Ok.

thanks for the comments. Cheered me up.

virgin holidays sorted it in record time within 9 mins.
new flights booked for this evening.

I bet that cost them a fortune.

only problem is the seats are miles apart but I have convinced the airline to stick us in emergency seats :D

Sorry if it seemed silly to get worried. I saw it as being stuck 6000 miles away and having to fork out 1700 for flights :O

Hey

seriously in a bind

we are on phi phi, hotel and transfers home all booked for today.
so we were happy in knowing we would get to airport ok.

just checked flights and find they were booked for yesterday!?!?!?!?!?!!

Virgin holidays are still sleeping as they are 7 hours behind us.

and now I have to take a 4 hour ferry then a 2 hour car ride to airport with no Internet or phone so I can't contact them till I'm at the airport.

what can I do now apart from worry myself silly for the next 6 hoirs.

my wife is sobbing and I dunno what to do

man up. jesus christ!

I've done this before with American Airlines on the way back from Boston once (They got me on the next flight, didn't charge a cent).

Explained the situation, just be polite and I'm sure a company like Virgin can accommodate you. They may charge a rebooking fee or something at a guess.

Why is your wife upset? In the very worst case scenario, all you'd have to do is buy more flights. Yeah that'd suck, but it's not like you're stuck there forever!

edit: I should probably read the thread before posting. Absolutely Virgin's fault, you won't need to fork out a thing or at the very least claim the cost back.

Women love a bit of a cry, that will have made her holiday complete. Did you get a seat for her too? Hope so.

Maybe that's a good thing? ;) You won't hear her complaining about Virgin Holidays ruining the end of your holiday... :)
