Even as someone who has isolated still operating Windows 7 installations from the internet now I don't feel any safer on 10 or 11 - they've hardly taken security to heart in reality (despite some of the PR) when designing the OSes and new exploits, some very serious, are being found all the time, sure they are being patched which Windows 7 largely isn't but most of the attention now by malware authors, etc. is going to be 10 and 11 and you are probably just as likely to become victim of a new exploit on 10/11 as have a security issues on 7.
I find it interesting with several large malware incidents (such as WannaCry) that hands were waved at XP and 7 systems still in use but if you actually read the analysis by security professionals who did deep dives the Windows 10 systems were either the main/bigger feature or just as compromised.
