i Need Help with Finshing Games!

just completed The Witcher Enhanced Edition inc the 2 Adventures. Probably one of the most enjoyable games i've played in a while.

Started playing more of Saints Row 2 and just evaded the police. The water chase scene killed my frame rate.. :|

Also installed NFS: Most Wanted and working on defeating Blacklist 14. :D

Played a litle more of Mirror's Edge, (got confused where the hell to run after the office cutscene and died a few times, got p*ssed off and left it til i feel like playing it again) :D

yehh attention span is way low.. but i aim to complete games and then unistall.
 
if you find you cant finish single player games, have you thought that multi-player aside, the game is not for you?

i mean i played the witcher and got side tracked away from it half way through, because i liked it that much i went back and completed it, 3 times on 3 difficulties infact.

Maybe re think the games you buy for single player;)

i only played witcher on normal mode, how was the hardest difficulty setting?


played a little more NFS: MW, need to defeat blacklist 12

Currently working on chapter 5 of The Witcher: Enchanced Edition.

then i've got Mirrors Edge (played first level)
Fallout 3 (completed main story, working on Anchorage expansion)
GTA4 (got to second home, and done a few quests)
Kings bounty - The Legend (untouched)
Saints Row 2 (played around with character creation and quit it lol)
EDIT: Crysis Warhead (untouched aswell)

i want to play.. but the motivation isnt there :D

how can you get bored of warhead? the game is almost nothing but action it doesn't let up for a second most of the time :confused: and snowdog how can you say it looks rubbish when its graphically superior too all the other games you listed? :confused:

a little edit, your using same GFX as me yet im getting more or less consistantly over 30FPS here with modded config.? what drivers you use?
 
i've got it installed but i havent run the game yet... lol probably an after effect from the first installment's gameplay being pretty mediocre, apart from visually stunning

mediocre compared to what exactly? TBH to me it seems just as good a FPS as games like HL2 only more visually stunning, has the standard sort of FPS control setup (also nanosuit controls), pretty standard weapon loadout (but customisable weapons is nice), what aspects of crysis gameplay aren't appealing? this is purely a matter of curiosity by the way :p mirrors edge is worth a single play through as well, though lacks any replay value TBH

and Shamikebab don't worry im like that, i much prefer single player campaigns to multiplayer! MP has far too much bitching, bunny hopping, hacking and grenade spamming (COD4 with stupid martyrdom for example)
 
well the storyline was a bit crappy, and being standard fps type run, shoot, hide shoot, throw a wheelie bin... i got bored pretty easy :P

but thats just me... and my short attention span lol.

I played about 10mins of warhead just to test it out, cinematics look good, gfx good (surprising since im running it on laptop), gameplay.. is mehh... still running around doing objectives while leaving a trail of bodies.

not too much of a problem if you take the time to level up, stringing together attack combos was hard because it doesnt show the fire icon thing, so you have to time the exact moment to chain together attacks.

very good game, wish they bring another out soon :cool:
