Anyway to stop it only thing I have us go really slowly on corners but always come last

There is no way of stopping it, buggies in real life are skittish under heavy driving and steering, you just need to learn to control them.

That means practice! All the whining on here isn't going to help you, you need to go and drive the cars. If it starts to slide, turn in to it and accelerate slightly. Don't brake.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!
 
Best thing to do with buggies is to throw them into the corner, full throttle and drift. They do handle terribly though, but then they are big and heavy, so it is to be expected.
 
What is someones best time on tanermara falls with a buggy mines is 1:13

Seems i'd never done it before in a buggy but I just had a go and after 3 laps it was 1:11.7 with a scruffy lap. That was the Brian Ickler Buggy.

The buggies are reliant on your control of the weight shift, try to anticipate it (knowing tracks helps) so that the induced oversteer is to your advantage rather than constantly fighting it.
 
Try them all and see, they're all much of a muchness, which one you prefer will depend on which one suits your style best but they will be minor differences only.
