I have currently moved into a new build house and i am currently with Virgin with fiber optic and tv ect.....

I have a problem, they say they do not support in the area but next door has it. if this is the case i will need to move provider and i have only been with sky and virgin so i havnt a clue about the other services that are out there. I do a lot of gaming on the internet so high speeds are a must for me as i have friends around too so there is a lot of internet usage.

any advice on the others out there would be great and if i havent put this in the right thread i do Apologise.

Thanks :D.!!

just some information on the other providers if any1 else uses the likes of BT, for example. Any experiences they have had with them (good or bad). i need to research into them incase i cant have the virgin in the house im at now.

Avoid Talk Talk who are an abomination of a company if you need assistance.

BT seem ok to me.

Go back to Sky?

The newbuild development I live on isn't yet covered by BT/Virgin, the lines are owned by Idependent Fibre Networks so used Sky for TV and then a much smaller ISP for broadband & phone.

I've never had a problem with Sky, but Virgin customer service is pathetic. Each to their own, I suppose.

EE/T-Mobile/Orange - They use BTs fiber network I been with them for a few months now because I had a T-Mobile phone contract I saved a bit.

Have not had to use support but I know in most cases they will just pass details onto open reach.

I wouldn't go back to Sky, unless you're an astronaut

Haven't had any probs with Virgin myself but as this is out of the question for you check out Plusnet

Yeh it is a shame as i havnt had a problem with Vm, just had the dude on the phone so he going to have a look at some point today to see if it is manageable but he said 'wudnt hold ya breath' lol.

Only problem is that i have just got installed in the old house not long ago (few month) so i am worried how i will be able to cancelle it if i cant have it lol.

Thanks for all the usfull feedback by the sounds of things BT or plusnet seemts to be my best bet lol :)
