Hi guys im on sky broadband with a connection of 8mb, had it capped like that out of 16 for a stable line. got good stats etc.. but my wirelss is quite poor for somereason, can only get good or low or very low which means download speeds are quite poor. im using a sky router dg834gt which i flashed with the uberGT firmware so all is good, im using a wpn111 wireless adapter so can do 108mb/s which is 54mb in real life terms :D i have a spare belkin F5D7633-4 router which i can also connect to the line as i put in all the dertails, however i was wondering if there is any way to bridge them to get a better connection, maybe connect the belkin router in my room via cable and use it as a wireless bridge/adapter to have a VERY good signal, anyone help me please :D

you can do just that. as long as you turn DHCP off on the belkin router, it should just act as a AP.

If you run a bit of network cable between the two routers, and as blatman suggested disabled DHCP, it would work - you can't connect them both to the phone line at the same time though.

ya i know that i cant conenct them both or this would be really easy lol, un fortuantly i cant run cable in between either so how do i do the bridge thing, whcih one would i leave downstairs on the master socket and which one as bridge
