OpenDNS can do this sort of thing?

Aslong as everyones machines are getting there DNS addresses from the router, just set-up an account with opendns, whack the OpenDNS server addresses into your router then control everything from the web-portal on their website?

If it's a proper addiction then simply cutting off the internet won't solve the problem. Get her to join gamblers anonymous or something.

you should also block credit card sites and keyworks for loans and credit and tell her its her last chance.

Tell her she's under Doctors Orders (9) to keep her Overweight (28) Droopy Drawers (44) off the internet and not to get Up to Tricks (46). Remind her who's got the Key of The Door (21) and that she's not exactly the Sweet Sixteen (16) Dancing Queen (17) that she once was. To stay off of the PC (49) and that now was your Time for Fun (41), watching some Young and Keen (15) playing a bit of Duck and Dive (25) on the internet. If she really wants to make it up she can organise a Three and Me (23) with some Dertie Gerties (30) for you and definitely not invite Two Fat Ladies (88). If she doesn't like it she can Get Up and Run (31).

You try too hard...

Pretty sure my Netgear DG834GT (and prolly the G model - if you order the G from OcUK you get the GT instead as a "bonus") can do keywork blocking on a site by site basis without having to block all the domains... I've not tested it tho.

From the web management:

Block Sites Help

If you want to limit access to certain sites on the Internet, you need to set up content filtering. There are two ways to filter content:

blocking access to certain domains (for example, pornoXXXsiteXXX.com) or
blocking sites that contains certain words (like profanity or explicit sexual material).
When users try to access a blocked site, they will get a message: "Blocked by NETGEAR".

I have to say tho the wireless is rubbish on it even tho everything else is great - I ended up hooking up my old router as a passive AP - while the signal was good it would keep disconnecting connections or not loading web pages.

you realise if you succeed in blocking websites with the work bingo in, you'll no longer be able to post in this thread? :p How will know if you've pulled it off?
