As title.

My current OS drive is playing up, so I've ordered a 320gb Spinpoint F1. Is there an easy was to clone the entire drive from the current to the new so I don't have to arse about reinstaling everything?

My main issue is that I have a student liscence of Autocad installed, and I've heard about people having issues trying to reinstall it after a format.

So, what programs are worthy, and is there any decent freeware out there that will do the job?

Awesome, sounds like I'll go with Acronis then. I'll have a bash later if I can muster the enthusiasm/energy.

Acronis doens't work. It hangs during analysation.

I can't uninstall it either, other people have had the same problem.

Balls to it. I've tried Acronis, Disc Wizard and others to no avail. I just had to reset my PC as it froze on shutdown and as soon as I pressed reset, the most awful sound started coming from one of my HDDs, probably the OS drive.

Looks like I'll have to drag all my crap over to the F1 and reinstall Windows before I lose a load of stuff.
