I need to know how:-

Maris pipers cut in chip size of your choosing. Place in large bowl, pat dry. Drizzle olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika. Mix it all together. Coat with thin layer of corn starch. 20 mins highest setting in air fryer. Enjoy.

Not washing them though?

Just stick them in an air fryer for a bit that will dry them, then either add the oil and throw them back in the air fryer or deep fry them.

The frozen beef dripping chips are yum so you could try using beef dripping instead of oil if you want flavour over healthy eating.

All these seed oils recommendations ‍♂️. Seed oils are the worst thing you can put in your body other than sugar. Nature really cocked up by making everything bad for you taste so good.

Beef dripping is good for you. We have been lied to 9ver how bad animal products are. Cholesterol us bad for you ect. All lies. We need cholesterol

Does it still count as a fry if it's roasted/air fried and not cooked in a vat of oil for purposes of making it crispy?
Oddly enough roast potatoes whether cut up or small cubes have tended to be the most crunchy of potato forms for me.

Bit late for the thread but I've used this guy's method for a while now. Its a bit of a faff but it produces crispy chips which stay crispy even if you have to keep them warm for a while (small fryer here).

I don't rinse them like he says - I put the chips in a sink of water, leave them for 20 mins then rinse by adding more water as the sink drains. When you parboil the water should stay mainly clear.

Edit - our fryer is a bit dodgy at keeping temperature under 130C so that's the temp I used for first fry.
