... but i need some assistance :)

I can type fine, but when it comes to putting my english skills on paper (or monitor as the case may be) they can look a little scruffy, so i need some help in writing an email to what i hope to be my future employer.

If some of you kind ladies and gentlemen could put some examples of the format of a tidy email that would be of great help, if it helps ill be applying for an IT Technician job at a private school (i currently do exactly the same thing at a school for chavs and low lifes and for £4k a year less :()

Cheers, ill check back here in about 45mins to see what you kind folks have come up with and ask why the hell your still awake at the same time.

I would suggest you write to them instead unless they have asked for email response !
Your need to enclose a cv !

Maybe add a bit of information as to why you think you'll be suited to this job. List some of the things you do at your current job and give reasons as to how you'll use them at a new role.

You need to catch the eye at your first point of contact, so briefly explain your current experience, situation and enthusiasm in 4 or 5 sentences.

I include a whole covering letter with the CV (one a4 page worth) and in the e-mail say something like

Dear Ms Whatever,

I am writing to apply for the graduate blah position at COMPANY as advertised on monster.co.uk. Please find attached my CV and covering letter for your consideration.

Thanks,
