I think that 'smartphone' is too much of a buzzword.
The idea of a smartphone is that it's a PDA-phone, has a touch screen, has access to the web and has the ability to install extra programs ('apps'). An example was the Sony-Ericsson P910i that I had in 2005.
Pretty much everything that's out nowadays i.e. Android, iOS, Windows Phone... are all smartphones. So it's pretty pointless when I hear people saying at work "I don't have an iPhone therefore I don't have a smartphone", where really they probably do, just that it's an Android or summat.
As for the OP, it's usually common bulletin board courtesy to have a few posts under your belt before begging for survey input.
