Basically got my iPhone 3G around 2.5 months ago and was brilliant signal wise for around the first week or two now it's total **** I can hardly support a phone call around my area which is where I spend 95% of my time atm. While in town I spoke to the people in Vodafone and they said that it's notorious with iPhones and it is a general problem but everyone else I talk to who has one seems to think it's okay even on my network. The other thing was when I synced my iPhone the other day it removed some of my apps including ones I paid for which really ****ed me off, how do I stop this happening and who do I speak to to get the paid for ones back? Thanks

Cant help with your signal issues, but as for the apps you have bought and lost, you can just re download them, you wont be charged a second time.

On the iPhone or itunes on me comp because I tired on my iphone and it tried to charge me again for some reason.

I think it says its going to cost you, but doesn't actually charge you once the system realises you've bought it already.

If the signal is different to a pals iPhone, then book an appointment with an AppleStore and get it replaced. Try a full restore first just in case.

Will a full restore remove all the apps it will won't it? I have no warranty left can I still get it replaced?

If you make sure you have an upto date backup - restore will do just that, restore to that backup.

Didn't know it was out of warranty. Even so I would book a genius appointment, it's free. They will tell you if it is duff.
