Also a good menu will list the main ingredients that get added to the curry so if you like the look of that just ask whether it has plenty of sauce or not.

It's the only curry I order. Beef curry is popular and plentiful in the North East.

Massive Indian influence where I am from, I know Hindu's don't eat beef as it's a sacred animal or something. I worked with a guy down south for a while who was Hindu and we always had banter about it haha.

He said it's likely that the Indians where I am from likely originate from Bangladesh so unlikely to be Hindu...whateva Beef in Madras is awesome :cool:

chicken tickka garlic balti. yum.

or garlic chicken. my local does a chicken palak which is cooked with spinach which is nice. none are hot.
