Left leg is still not doing well, grappling is to blame.

Will see how it is later but as it stands today will be a purely upper body session.
 
My adductor got wailed on my some guy who wanted past my guard.

I do submission grappling, ADCC style so it's a mix of many different arts.

The class is primarily BJJ but with my build I try use a bit of wrestling and judo.

Got a nice little group of 83kg lifters on here with Dom, LiE and yourself. Hopefully see you all compete against each other at some point :)

I'm in the 93s, I was considering dropping for the 83s but staying in the 93s as my grappling weight class is 90kg :)

600 is getting closer but it's not mine yet!

No film :( the gym has 3 nice instructors and 1 complete tool who complains about everything including videos.

The 250 was great for a PB, my upper back rounded a bit but lower was good, front squats and sneaky core work have brough that area up to scratch!
 
Saturday - leg is almost better :) lower back is a bit tired from the deadlift PB but nothing that will interfere with the session.

Grappling tonight was awesome, learned a lot and landed a move I'd been sneakily practicing :D
 
Haha not quite, despite being able to lift my training partners quite easily I'll save any slams/suplexes for drills or competition.

It was a leg lock :)
 
Lifting more kitchens today, liking the strongman style of lifting awkward objects.....it really takes it out of you.

Anyways training tonight should be interesting, hope I'm up to the squats and as for the bench instead of going one set more than I complete I'm going to go 2 sets more and get used to handing some more weight again.

The 2 guys I train with are oly lifters and they've had me doing a few cleans, if I was somewhere I could drop the weight I'd be much happier (in the photo is a special are that we're rarely allowed) a friend is opening up an olympic gym so I'll give it a go once he's set up :)

In a contest with one of them for the biggest squat :D we're neck and neck right now :D

Also something in the works for strongest overall lifter so it's the 3 power lifts and the 2 oly lifts combined to make your total :D

I'll be forced to learn it in order to compete in that XD

All these were done with a slightly alternated position, getting tight in an upright position was the focus :) felt very good but a little too stressful on my wrist, need adjustment.

Walkouts - unracking the bar, take a couple of steps out, hold (or squat a little :D)
230kgs - current NI record, squatted down with this a little......soon.....
250kgs - this was heavy....not quite so soon :p

Worked in singles to +30kgs which was all I had in the tank today.


A lot to think about from tonights session......squat position, deadlift stance, bench technique......
