I used to dream about owning a 5970. I remember looking many years ago at them on ocuk and thinking christ if i sold a kidney i could have one.

I was expecting to have allot more issues seeing as im a Quadfire user since the 3xxx, but for me personally its been great.

I should add that despite all the driver flak AMD gets, they're still winning in all the latest games vs the similarly priced Nvidia options. That is a true sign of how bad these AMD drivers are.

Bioshock, just released is another comfortable victory for AMD. So whilst AMD have their terribly fast drivers, Nvidia have their steady but slower drivers.

I should add that according to the Anand article when AMD improved their latency in boarderlands 2 they saw up to 13% more performance. If even 10% of that is carried over into other games then expect the gap to get larger.

I would ask for a refund if I bought a Titan.

Minfps is important as slow downs is highly mesureable and noticeable.

Depends whether it's a bug in the benchmark or not. TR had minimums of 4 FPS prior to being patched and it was about as smooth as can be.

I expect its a bug with the game/benchmark Flopper so i wouldn't get too excited. Anyway if that was the case my minimum was only 33.

We might be beating 670's & 680's for fun but i don't think we should try and joust with a titan.
