I really love guiness! Anything else you recommend?

And Park Royal is partially in which London Burrough?

I have zero desire to argue the toss about this, and yes, Park Royal is partly in the borough of Brent and partly in the borough of Ealing, but Park Royal would never be known as Ealing by any North West Londoner, just as Southall wouldn’t, but Southall too comes under the borough of Ealing.
Sidcup is in the London borough of Bexley, but to the majority of Londoners it always was and still is in Kent.

You could also try Belgian Barley Wines - get hold of some "Bless the Barley" which is the winner from the Brew Master TV show. Careful it's 9%.

I used to drink Guinness back in the day - uni sessions I found my limit was 9 pints in the evening. Nowdays I tend to drink continental beers.

I’m not a beer person, never have been, and when I followed my peers at the age of 17/18 and tried one or two, (stuff like Double Diamond, or Watneys Pale Ale), I felt bloated after maybe two, so switched to whisky.
Guinness always looked like thick black liquid, and I imagined it to be fattening, so when you said that you drank 9 pints in a session I imagined you ending up like the Michelin Man.

It's surprisingly one of the lighter beers in terms of calories.

Used to do it here, too. "Guinness is good for you" promotional stuff.

In around 2000, when I was a student and worked part time in a supermarket, I remember an old dear coming in to buy some Guinness because her doctor had told her to!
When my mum was pregnant with me in 1980, her doctor told her to drink a bit of stout. Apparently it’s got plenty of iron in it.

I remember my maternal grandmother saying that to my aunt Grace, my mother’s youngest sister, when Grace was pregnant with one of my cousins.
It must have been good advice, Grace had four sons who are all fighting fit and a credit to her, she’ll be 90 this year and still regularly goes to the gym, at family functions she’s the first one to start dancing and the last to leave the dance floor.

Stone brew co xocoveza - stunningn but hard to find

Thornbridge cocoa wonderland is decent and available in most supermarkets.

Love lane imperial stout, suprised me as being a half decent 10%er only available in limited supply from lidl i believe

Siren broken dream, a pretty decent breakfast stout for the money, again an easy supermarket jobby.

Northern monk norse star 2 was nice too for a "flavoured" one, ns 1 and 3 weren't any good imho

Denver milk stout at 1.25 from asda is areet to have to hand lol

Chacun à son goût and all that, but when I read “pretty decent breakfast stout”, I almost lost my eggs Benedict.
I’ve always been partial to a few glasses of laughing water but I couldn’t even think of it until midday at the earliest.
It’s no surprise that your user name translates to kamikaze!
