My PC has been running fine for months and months.
Last night Norton said it had blocked a Virus but the next time I tried to boot my PC it hung on the starting windows screen and it would not move.
I decided to perform a repair but it would hang again when selecting a drive.
I decided then to clean install but it hung again before being able to access the drives.
I decided to format it through Linux. However when I installed Ubantu this would not boot either.
I eventually managed to reinstall win 7 -64 bit but it is still hanging on Windows is starting screen for up to 5 minutes. Usually it takes 20-25 seconds to boot.
I have also tried 2 ssds and both have same issue. I have done a memtest which was perfect. I'm thinking MB but no idea what.
