Guys, seriously.. what is going on with the registration process?

I was reading a techie thread and wanted to reply. So i registered.

I can't read 90% of the verification images, they are just too hard. After thinking "is that a Z or a sideways N, is that an S or a 5, is this squiggle before or after the one that might be an I? etc" I refreshed like 50 times to get one I can read, and that was a guess.
The spam question.. well, I'd have thought a black and white road crossing mammal was a badger? I should know, I hit one in my car. But apparently that was wrong, soo.. back to the verification image noooooooooooo.
ok, so i got through those. Now it says I must add a sport (not sure why thats a requirement, oh well).. so the verification image and the spam question has reset (?!) and i have to type my password for the 3rd time.
Finally.. my registration is complete. I click the email link. All done :)
Then I go back to the thread I was viewing, and... "you cannot view this thread!!!! lol, I had more privelages when I wasn't registered.

Anyway, here now.. hardest registration ever. Is there a medal at the end of it? :)
