I need to buy a new PSU. I'm currently running a competitor branded OCZ PSU and I know I need to replace it, but I'm hesitating as I would like to save the money for a new graphics card. I could buy the PSU now as I'm waiting for the new AMD cards to come out.

I know I should replace it, but holding back for this reason.

The OCZ ZX series are fully modular.

The 850W 'gold' is under £120: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-052-OC

That'd possibly be my choice. :)

EDIT: Scrap that!

I just remembered the Silverstone Striders are fully modular too,

750W 'gold' for £130: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-225-SV&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2283

I'd have the silverstone!

I really like this unit and quite tempted. If I do want the cables braided, can someone recommend someone who could dot it for me or where I could buy a pre braided set of modular leads for it?

Well, I already have some, but the cables from the PSU with most units are visible and not braided/covered with anything but mesh. Being fussy, I don't like the sight of it.

Braid them yourself, will give you something to do in the up coming Winter months. :D

Its a consideration and I'm not entirely sure i would need to crossfire. My SLI setup was problematic and always crashing.
