Hello all,

I recently purchased a full rig, ds3, 6300 and ocz 1gb ram. + bla bla

I rigged it all up, everything powers up, but no signal to monitor, no beeps. I RMA'd the RAM and am awaiting new stuff as ocz has bad compatibility reviews with the ds3. I have come to the conclusion that my board is dead, and it has nothing to do with the ram? opinions?

Thanks,

Tyler

We had endless problems with OCZ ram and DS3 boards. Eventually we swapped the OCZ for some 5400 Corsair and mine's been fine since. Think my bro's board may have still played up though, so it's probably worth going for a DS4 and some ram that is known to be compatible.

i have rma'd the ram and will be testing it when 2gb geil comes through.. my symptoms were that the monitor did nothing, but everything powered up etc. I feel that this suggests memory, but any opinions would help me a lot.

Thanks

Have you tried 1 stick on any other ram? and if u do get in with another ram just set the volts to 1.9 in bios and then put in your OCZ memory, as thats what it needs to run.
