Hey afternoon everyone,

basically i want a games console but i have no idea where to start. I want something which i can play games on and have fun.

Can anyone help me because its all confusing to me

Which of those lists interest you more? Go for that one.

PS3, i have had both, i just prefer the PS3. Both are good, but this is what i would go for, it just feels...better?

i would not touch the ps3 either

Id look at a full list of current and future exclusives for both consoles first mate and decide from there, Id also look at whether you wanted Blu-ray or not and are willing to pay a bit extra.

TBH I would choose my PS3 over my 360 anyday of the week, just because of the hardware and the game franchises.

Dont research the consoles, research the games you want to play - from that make your decision.

research both mate

they both have good and bad points

whichever of the two you choose you will be happy with as they are both fantastic machines

just see what games interest you the most

oh and by the way - you have opened what is known as a fanboy war

If you are not bothered about media/Blu-Ray playback then I'd seriously go for the 360.
