ok lets clear one thing up here yes i am a girl.
i like to play fighting shooting games. games which involve violence r always a good selling point for me.

Buy a Gamecube. There are plenty of quality games on that console. In the future when prices are down, get an Xbox360 or PS3. With the rest get some makeup.

They are on both consoles, or at least Bioshock will be soon .

No one really knows when it's coming out though. At least Bioshock has a set date, which is why I didn't put Bioshock but did put Rockband.

Look at the games and buy a console using that as a deciding factor. No point in buying a console if you don't like the games that are out for it or will be coming out for it.

One exceedingly good reason to get a 360 is Dead Rising.

I bought it pretty much at release and still play it. It's a fantastic game.
