I want a over kill PC

No desk top perfect and fast. Just gaming. I updated the bios to F18 from gigabyte website but that didn't work. I updated bios fine just didn't mend the 116 error and crashes in games.

Theres nothing left to do then,

Strip the PC down.

Sell all the parts individually as that way you should only get one complaint back and that will be the faulty item.

Buy new epic PC.

That's too good a system to give up on it - it's gotta be fixable.

My first thought is that 82c is high - can you do something about that, maybe take the side off the case?

Can you take a photo of the rig so we can see what you're dealing with?

Worth doing a clean Windows install so we can eliminate that.

Also worth testing each ram stick individually - if that means taking the heat sink off then so be it - you can pick up a stock cooler for peanuts.

82c is in game on desk top its around 38c. I have formatted quite a few times to see if it was that and installed drivers etc but still no good.

Detailed blue screen info needed and maybe even .dmp files could be uploaded somewhere.

Are you definitely not running any overclocks?

If your not running any overclocks, I would go in to bios and make sure you 'load optimized defaults'.

Not bothered about price but this is about tops im willing to and want the best.

You want a Titan X, not a Titan Z - preferably two, actually, and an i7-5960, not an i7-5920.

But really speed-wise there's not a lot wrong with your current system that a pair of Titan X GPUs would not solve.

Throwing silly money at a problem is not really a solution imo.

It's one thing wanting the BEST, but what is your reasoning? What is your set up?

You have more than a capable system. Fixing your current issues are more important.

Yup. Doing what stulid said and putting on windows 10 preview. Can all ways format back to windows 7. Can only try. But 99% sure its graphic card with 116 error as when search google 116 error normally driver or graphic card dying error.

WOW. Just installed windows 10 and massive improvement from the word go. Not tried games yet as just updating windows update. Never upgraded be for as I always format so is upgrade a lot different then clean format?. I have not formatted this time because I updated it using windows up date as not got a blank dvd or usb for iso image. But I didn't no that it would update the drivers it self as its installed the new 349.90 version. But the net at the moment is a lot faster.

Ive noticed something else different. I looked on the internet while on windows 7 to see how you can tell what windows you booted up in. Legacy or Uefi. People said to look in msinfo32 and it tells you there. I did this and it didn't say anything that was missing. In windows 10 msinfo32 it says Bios mode UEFI. I tried Legacy mode too in windows 7 and that wasn't there either. So did windows 7 not get fully installed?. Not played games yet as still updating to 10049 version from 10041 version.

Well I hope its not a placebo effect as they say. As I just played FarCry 3 like I did in windows 7 with ultra graphics and the mountain back ground glitch seems to have gone. I will download GPUz and look at the temps later. Only problem is Xbox one controller not working wired as get code 19. I search and is common for this build of windows so hope there is a fix in next. Will play a bit of Elite Dangerous too later. I hope I'm not jumping the gun as I not played it long enough yet but as seen as windows 7 didn't see what I was booted up in in msinfo32 and does now, it looked like windows 7 wasn't installing properly.
