I want a sequential gearbox!

and a 106 with throttle bodies, this thing is awesome :cool:

How are sequential gearboxes when changing gear at low RPM? Is it generally jerky and unpleasant unless you're at full throttle?

That sounds realy nice

His gear changes seem very jerky though, but he's not attempting to match the revs or the car to the gear :confused:

Sounds fine, and it could just be the video, but there seemed to be a whole lot of noise and things for not really all that much go. I mean I know it's a 106 and everything, but what's the point?!

Bic's 106 is a monster - apparently it's off the road at present for some forced induction.

Here's a better video - you gotta love the way the camera man dives out the way at 0:39.

It seems to get past an Evo without a problem, in his Donington vid.

dont all Fuel Injected cars have a throttle body ? i dont get what they're on about.

In short.

based on a 4 cylinder car... throttle bodies, or ITB's (individual throttle bodies) is when each cylinder has its own throttle body....

Its a sequential box, you don't use the clutch when changing gear. Only when pulling away, hence the rough (but fast) shifts.
