Will a fan work in reverse if I reverse the positive and negative terminals? And before anyone says turn the fan round the other way I can’t with these fans,Arctic

If you did that, the angled fins would be turning the wrong way, resulting in poor airflow.

You would have to reverse the polarity and possibly fry the fan in doing so. Plus the fan blades are designed to work in one direction, so the fan wouldn't work as well. Buy a new fan!

I haven't bought them yet.
Thing is I've a Mozart case on the way with lots of holes for fans and i hate fan noise, or at lest a certain type of noise.
I think I have some kind of wired fan fetish as I seem to have a carboard full of just about every brand going but I have found the frame mounted Arctic fans really nice as you only here the blow of air rather than humming motor noise. The problem with them is you can't mount them on the front of this case to blow in.

If you haven't bought the arctic fans yet, can you buy different fans that you can turn round or does it have to be those specific fans.

I seem to remember that its only worth sucking if the HS is shrouded.

Reason for wanting them is have used them already and happy with performance, sound and price, £ 4.00 a piece. Seeing as i need a lot, 4 for rads one for case exhaust and 4 or five for the front it all starts to add up in price and sound.
