FFS, I was promised we would see Radiohead on E4 tonight as they were a headlining act at the V Festival. We had 30 minutes of Kasabian and then the presenter said now we go to Radiohead. One song…. ONE ####### SONG! That is pathetic, its like they couldn’t be bothered.

Now I have just seen one song by Fatboy slim and they have gone back to Kasabian… What the hell…. Kasabian are carp, I want more Radiohead!

I might cry

YAY! They are back... one for one song I guess

EDIT: Great... One song and they can't even get the name right  .

I didn't mind Kasabian on for the first half an hour, but it was a joke when they started switching between the two bands. IMO Radiohead were the biggest headlining act at V this year and it seemed E4 didn't give a dam. It was all about Kasabian

Lol, I see what you mean about the wrong song names.... The Bends?! What the hell :p

I have emailed a complaint to them… First time I have ever done that, I feel like a grumpy old man now :p
Oh well, at least I will sleep tonight knowing I might have gotten through to them, they probably won’t reply though  :p

The BBC footage of Muse at Reading better be good.

Ah watching Channel 4, seems like they are showing some more stuff. No Surprises ;) :D

More Radiohead later, at the moment is some band called Orson ( )

What ammused me the most was when the presenter guy said:

"Sorry, that song was Street Spirit, not The Bends, don't worry they will be on later, both classic songs. More like modern classics anyway as they are only about a year old!"

A year? Add ten I think!

Was a pathetic display of incompetence

They have shown sooo much Kasabian

Agreed, not enough radio head. Although Creep sounded amazing with the crowd there. Dam, wish id gone now just for that.

Kasabian sounded ******* awful
Apparently they've been having sound problems. While Girls Aloud were on the sound was going abit carp.. oh wait perhaps it was Girls Aloud. Anyway that could be the reason why they sounded naff.

Well, from what I heard of both bands on Sunday, Kasabian blew Radiohead out of the water, caught about five songs from Radiohead from 'Just' and ending with 'Creep'. And boy, did they need to play that one. The Kasabian set was something else, really got the crowd going. Editors also had a stormer before them, I'm not a particularly big fan of theirs but they managed to win me over.

Anyone who saw Art Brut in the Union tent on Sunday had a treat as well, because they were fantastic. And James Dean Bradfield was brilliant in the rain early Saturday evening, showing why he's still the most under-rated guitarist around. His impromptu version of 'Raindrops keep falling on my head' was a great moment too. He did promise to take the rain to chelmsford for us so I hope he succeeded.

The two worst performances I saw were Keane (Bland and dull) and Hard-Fi (I so want their singer to be the next musician on Jack White's hit-list after hearing their dreadful cover of 'Seven Nation Army'). I've got to be honest, the main stage was quite rubbish in general. Far better acts and atmosphere on the channel 4 stage.

Radiohead - Iron Lung, awesome song :)

dunno if they played it, but seeing Radiohead written here made me put it on

Couldn't agree more! Finishing off with Kasabian on the Sunday night at Staffs was perfect  Awesome live band, can't wait to see them in December at the MEN - The Frattellis are support too which is cool as I've seen them before and they're very good also :)

How good was strolling over to the main stage while still chanting for a good 15/20mins after they left the stage

Caught Creep which was good but I wasn't interested in the rest of the Radiohead set. I go to festivals to jump around like a loonitic, not stand there swaying :o
