  • Mogwai (essential) - all of it, but Happy Songs for Happy People is a good starting point
  • Godspeed You! Black Emperor - all of it, but especially f#a#∞
  • 65daysofstatic - all good, especially their newest album, The Destruction of Small Ideas (this is probably their most accessible album as well)
  • Boards of Canada (again, essential) - all of it is awesome, but my favourite albums are The Campfire Headphase and Geogaddi
  • Amon Tobin - all of it
  • Isis (quite heavy but very, very good) - Panopticon is very good
  • Devin Townsend
  • King Crimson
  • Mr Bungle - all of it, but California is my favourite

Quite a lot of variation there :)
