that i can overclock and at a fairly good price. just want to try and see how far i can take it and what speeds/temps i can get. any ideas on what i could buy ? thanks

budget around say £300?

i guess i can use bits from my current system and sell the rest.
heres what i have
asus p5b deluxe
e6300 core duo 2 proccessor
1 gb cell shock pc6400 memory
and a 2900 pro flashed to xt( i will def be using this!)
and a 520w corsair psu
 
Q6600, p35 based board and a decent air cooler? the rest of your componants are pretty sweet dude.

Failing that, get a decent cooler and clock the nuts out of the e6300, some people have managed 100% clocks from these...

my 6300 is at 3.2ghz already!
 
Just get a Quad core, 2/4gb ram (depending on OS) and an 8800GT.

With the money from selling the 2900 it shouldn't cost any more than your budget and will offer the largest performance increase.
