Hi, I am looking to buy a gaming laptop as I've been playing Xbox for years and only recently found out about p.c gaming.
I want a laptop because I travel a lot and a compute would be too big.
I do not know anything about specs or what makes a decent gaming laptop.

I want to play fallout 4 , and new upcoming games in the future so I want a decent laptop which I know will play these games well with no problems.

I want to spend a maximum of roughly £1300.

This link is a recommendation from my friend, what do you think and is there much better for similar price?

Re-read the FAQ regards linking to competitors.

Hopefully you all can help me.
Thanks.

I have a MSI 17.3" 1080p laptop with a 970m GPU. It's big an heavy, the power supply is also large, I had to buy a large notebook rucksack to lug it about.

Try and get the best laptop GPU you can afford, like the 8gb 980m or the full 980.

I would say wait a month or so for the new laptop graphics cards to be released, as youll see current gen laptops being cleared out, or the new ones available.

Best thing would be to learn about what laptop spec would suit your needs best, and then look for deals for a laptop with the GPU thagt you're after.

Do you know what resolution screen you would want to play on?
