I want to learn how to rollerblade!

i miss blading, and skating, and the mushy pea shed :( - the smallest fully featured skate park in europe, until chavs (or trendys, as they were then) smashed it all up.

I haven't even thought about skating for years! I started on Roces Romes although the White Majestics were always my favourite. :) Only thing I would say about the actual learning is to simply get out there, give it a try and don't be afraid to fall because sooner or later you will whatever you do! :p

I never would have though of you as a skater, that's cool :).

I agree with Kelly, I was a figure skater for years (so basically the same idea), and you don't get anywhere if you're not prepared to fall and hurt yourself. Just don't start off downhill if you've never skated before ;).

whats the difference between aggressive an normal ?

(other than the blood on the pavement ;) )

Normal skating is just running around backwards and forwards, in the sort of blades that you would think of as normal (think Bauer). Aggressive skating is similar to skateboarding, but on rollerblades instead. The skates are slightly different too, with catches over the ankle instead of the laces going right up, and the bit above the blades is wider to allow grinding on rails and such.
It can be pretty dangerous, not long after I met my ex, he broke his elbow by throwing himself down a set of stairs trying to do something on his blades.
