I Want to Play An MMORPG....

anyone tried RF Online recently? its gone free (aparently, anyone see a trend with NC Soft games?) but I can't find a free place to download the client

Most are terribly slow however :(

For some reason I can't find a proper tracker for the torrent, then again I am a massive torrent noob.
 
would have thought GH would be fine, most of the UK servers are fairly low on capacity usage atm


as for the BT link, i imagine the average cog user is a leech which doesnt help any of their dedicated uploading machines
 
Hmm.

Was only getting 150kbps on GH but the torrent gets 200 pretty solid.

I wish it was on usenet, then at least I'd be using a bit more than 10% of this connection :(
 
meh, i rarely max my conn anyway, but i blame the fact its cheap, and rarely actually syncs at 8meg

but hey im in norfolk, where everything is a bit backward, rural, and very very flat

I'm in cornwall, connected at 8.1, synced at 7.1 and getting 5.5 on speedtest! we're backwards down here too.
filefront maxed at 150 too for me z, should have tried the torrent :(
installing later today
 
I think WoW was slightly different due to the nature of raiding, same for other MMOs that demanded that level of commitment. I want to play one again with friends, but don't want to get drawn in again and I feel I would. So its back to good old fps gaming for me :).

Exactly. That's the same situation I'm going through. I want to play but I know I'll get sleepless nights because I'll want a Certain Item or whatnot.
