Well ive had my simplicity since 2010!

I went to the 02 store today as I've always bought my phones 2nd Hand but immaculate working order. And they offered not very good deals and 24 month contract looking at around £58 per month on 5GB of Data no upfront costs.

I currently own a Iphone 4s - 3G

Due to the phone seeing its best of days due to (ios8) new tech etc.

Really wan't an Iphone 6+ But just not getting any intensive :(


Just might have to save £700 and get the + ...and stay 3G..


OR try and ring them and blag one of their business lease off them as they offer £44 no upfront and 10GB data

If you're buying your phone second hand, is it just the contract you want? because all of these are better deals than o2

unlimited everything virtually, inc 4g for 20 to 28 pounds a month. 1 month contracts included (numbers 8,9,10 down the bottom of the page)


If you want a phone it depends on the phone you want but everyone apart from giffgaff who do 12month, do the phone deals with a 24 month contract. Which might work for you if you need to stay in O2's coverage area as giffgaff use O2's network.

I tend to buy 2nd hand but am thinking I'd like a New Iphone 6 plus. But once I could afford it but one out right and either keep my simplicity and not worry about 4G

You'll get better than your existing deal on a payg £15 pm off 3, there's loads of phones better than an iphone 4s for around the £100 mark.
 
Its 0% finance for 10months for a iphone on the apple store. Need to hurry though its only on until the 15th.

That's fine, threes 3g is rapid as well.

I don't really follow apple but can't you just go for the best sim only contract then buy a second hand 6 plus and unlock it?

I could but don't have that kind of lump sum to buy in one go.
 
also been reading that Apple are going to release an Iphone 6mini so will wait it out i think as the prices will drop further.
 
You only have until the 15th to get the interest free loan, something to bear in mind if you want to spread the cost. I sucked it up and got the loan, selling my iphone 5 to cover some of the cost and will keep the 6+ for 2 years like I did the 5, still expensive but cheaper than going through a contract.
 
Not bad from giffgaff but still paying £100 odd extra over 24 months. I take it the phones are sim free from them?
 
If you've got the same "unlimited data" bolt-on that I had with my O2 Simplicity tarrif (which I took out in 2008), then you don't actually have unlimited data, you have 4GB of data... which I found out a few months ago when I was away for a couple of weeks and managed to hit 4GB of data use, and I then was left with absolutely no data at all for the remainder of my trip away.

I moved from O2 to Three, and the difference is staggering - whereas I'd struggle to get a 3G connection on most of the UK's road network, I now get a solid H+ signal almost 98% of the time, other than when it flicks to a 4G connection when going past/through cities/towns that have 4G.

The move from O2 to Three has allowed me to use my phone out and about - not only is the coverage better, but the speeds are massively better too. Even on O2 with an H+ connection it wouldn't be particularly quick or responsive.

Hmm the giffgaff link has swayed my mind even more!


With the 4G at 5GB is that good?? How much extra does 4G take data wise?

Or might just get that three one!

And want to keep my number!

You have 'unlimited' data, sure. The real question is, how much data do you actually use?

Take that information and you will have a better idea of what you need to do...
