Same here one minutes im at 60+ fps nearer 90, then all of a sudden its just spikes and grounds to what seems liek slow mo, normaly just as i enter a gun battle normaly resulting in me getting onwed, that blat just as i die straight back up to 90fps

also on a 8800GT god dam does my head in, 2.5k on a rig that runs Cod4 only game im playing at the mo like crap..

Cant wait to get a better card, wish id just listened to msyelf and got the GTX/ultra from the off, i think if u play 1280 or below res the 8800 is an ok card, anything above and it just doesnt cut it. Now i have to sit it out an decide on either an ATI x2 or the 9800 X2. :mad:

Been a long wait with this 8800GT i owned since launch
