Hi 8 pack

I have posted my issue in the overclocking section but I guess nobody seems to know as no one has replied. You seem to be the guy in the know.

Have you tried overclocking with a fixed voltage of around 1.35 to start with.

Set Vcore to Manual then type this value in.

I would also set VCCSA to 1.05v, PLL 1.9v and my DRAM volts to 1.65v to start with. Leave Speed step on but turn off all the Cstates and set LLC to med / high.

Then see how this goes.

Can you post more bios settings though please to look at such a digi power section etc. This will me to be a greater help and suggest more solutions.

LLC High
CPU voltage frequency Auto
VRM Disabled
CPU current capabilty 140
Thermal control 130
Everything else is Auto.

Do you really think I need to increase the VCCSA? it's at 0.925 also when you say increase the ram voltage to 1.65 wouldn't that be over volting it?

I have never had any blue screens just this occassional no POST issue.

No post is cold boot problems.

This is often memory voltage or IMC voltage.

1.05 VCCSA and 1.65v RAM is fine and well within accepted parameters.

I will change to fixed vcore and the settings you have advised. Thanks for your help.

I'll change them when I get home from work and run prime for a bit to see if it stable.

I will let you know how it goes.

Use your PC rather than Prime etc. Just use it!!!

I have never encountered cold boot problems and I always overclock but have never done anything with VCCSA etc before. If this proves to be ok I might go for 4.7 or 4.8

Hi 8 pack. I have had the cold boot issue twice since I changed to what you advised. Do you think I should update the BIOS or is there anything else I should try?

Try VCCSA at 1.1v its still fine at this.

I wont be able to do this till the weekend but it looks like I am getting to the bottom of this as its been nearly a month since I changed to what you advised and it happened twice this week once on Saturday and once yesterday.

The VCCSA went red. System boted fine though should I be concerned. Should I try the LLC at high or ultra high?

1.1 is fine.

LLC is for CPU if you want to push it up one notch thats cool.
