i3 bundle ordered help needed

Well i've found 600W Storm STORM-600W Black Edition, 23dB, 120mm Silent Fan, Black, ATX12V v2.0.

Literally all i can afford. Is that a good quality PSU? And will it do the job? Thanks

A competitor sells that PSU for £18.07 including VAT.

I think the price says it all. It says it's a piece of rubbish.

I'm considering ssetting up an eBay and paypal with an attempt to flog some old gear and raise extra money for a psu and a new case perhaps. Can anyone recommend a case for about 50-75

cooler master 690 II lite/advanced dominator :D
you could always try the MM since you qualify for it(for the old gear)

I bought the coolermaster elite 335, all I need now is a psu and I'm set. Got the u2 bundle using my current 9800 GT 1gb card going to get it all fitted into the new case with my old optical drive and 500gb hdd. Can anyone tell me if the performance on that would be good? Maybe a wireless card also. If I wanted to build my pc myself to save £40 is it easy/any risk and could I do it within a saturday

I'd of gone for an i7 though :P

eh?! i7? i think the op doesnt have as much money as you do to spend on a i7 that is not needed fot the OP's purpose/intended use.
heck an i5 woud be better for gaming than i7 and i think thats still out budget.
whats up with u and i7 anyway? seen you around in some threads going for i7s :D

It is easy, as long as you take your time. You could do it in in next to no time as the fiddly bits will pretty much be done for you. The time consuming is putting the motherboard standoffs in and then wiring up which I hate. But such a feeling of relief when it fires up and don't forget the pride too!

Yes you could do it in a saturday. I suggest looking at http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18046396

for a detailed help guide.

I would also look at some videos online. If you type how to build a pc etc. The fundamentals will pretty much be covered. No need for fancy books or anything like that.

It honestly is not a difficult process. Just take your time and enjoy the process.
