Hi i recently brought a system early December which consists of..

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.80GHz (Sandybridge)
Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 Motherboard
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950 IceQ X PLUS Edition 2048MB
Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Antec TruePower New Modular 650W PSU

I have not yet overclocked the processor but I really want to do it but I'm not quite sure how as I'm kinda new to this stuff. if there is anyway someone could explain to me how to do it or no of any tutorials that show you how to in the simplest way. At idle I'm currently running around 27-30c , Full load around 45c

I dont know if this helps, but this is the settings I use for my setup in the sig (Maybe you can play around with it abit) that gets it @ 4.6ghz stable for my machine.

I have a similar setup to you so maybe with a little messing it might work out? just I have an asus board. This is a sample profile that Ocuk setup for me - I have just changed it abit as there setup was not stable for my machine.
