Are you looking to change to the motherboard in the future as the H61 board does not allow for overclocking,

No overclocking anytime soon anyway, thank you for the input.

No probs

Just looking at the pricing and the retail version is only £6 more and offers 3 years warranty rather than the 1 on the OEM cpu, also you could drop the aftermarket cooling and use stock heatsink with the retail cpu. If you find the stock cooler noisy you could always add a cooler at a later date.
