i5 2500k unable to get past 4.2ghz

Been messing with mine again today after years

raised qpi/vtt voltage for the first time ever to 1.120

it's transformed my ceiling, currently at 4.6ghz 1.38 volts under dynamic voltage speedstep on

might hit 4.9 at 1.48 volts i'll see but yea qpi/vtt voltage is needed on some of these boards especially with 16gb ram

for years and years i left mine at 4.1-4.2 at 1.475 volts having never tested qpi/vtt voltages

surprised how many people still overclock without using dynamic voltage but using speed step
no point using down clocking if the volts stay the same

Mine has sat at 4.6ghz for what must be 8 years now. I can't honestly remember exactly what the settings are but I've definitely got speedstep off and the voltage is set manually with LLC high.
