I bought my PC from an 8pack bundle couple years ago, came at like 4.40 gHz, and it is on 2.70 gHz atm, how do I make it higher? I am new to it and using the BIOS. I have the z170-e
I think it involves increasing the bclk as the CPU multiplier is locked, have a Google around and I'm sure you can find some guides.I bought my PC from an 8pack bundle couple years ago, came at like 4.40 gHz, and it is on 2.70 gHz atm, how do I make it higher? Do I need to unlock it, and set it to the ghz wanted?I think it involves increasing the bclk as the CPU multiplier is locked, have a Google around and I'm sure you can find some guides.
The download link for the BIOS is a dead link. :/If you have not updated the bios, all the settings are here.
