i5-6600K

How is the i5-6600K to overclock? What speed would I be able to get it to on a safe and steady basis? I have never overclocked a cpu before either so it will be the first time I'm attempting an overclock.

I'm planning to use the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming mobo with the CPU.

I got one a few weeks back. With absolutely no other tweaking, it runs perfectly at 4.5
Idle is roughly 23c and load is around mid 50s.

Mine runs 24/7 at 4.4 with 1.29V nice and cool

I'm going to use the Alpenfohn Matterhorn with the 6600K so I believe it will be keeping fairly cool.

What motherboards are you using? Is the overclocking easy in their software?

i don't trust in built software, prefer using the BIOS.
