Nope and we have both tray and retail in stock of 8600k. Anything for purchase from the webstore is brand new and un-used.
Try cancel the order?Heh, you didn't have any retail showing when i placed an order an hour ago, gutted. Can never have too many spare retail coolers or longer warranty![]()
Are the ones in the store the stock that failed the binning selection? I know the retail boxes have been cleaned out but there are stock of the tray type.

Any binned 8600k will be made available as a binned processor or used in our system integration.
Gibbo I think You should have Sticky topic about Binning process on this Sub forums. Every other day someone comes and asks if CPUs on sale are ones that failed Binnign process :/
Well the i7 retails were blagged for binned sales so it makes sense to ask.
Although it hadn't occurred to me to use the search, i'll give you that.
there is this crappy rummor that OCUK and other Binned cpu selling companies. Test ALL STOCK and sell ****** ones as normal and keep good clockers for bigger profits.
Im on quite a few forums and I end up explainging how it works and why one should buy BNinned.
3 guys from my Polish forums decided to buy boxed 8700k's and only one does 5ghz other ones even tho delided are not 5ghz stable. I told them to order from ocuk but they ware like.. Ye right all of those chips are doing 5ghz after delid.....
Interesting.. I thought the vast majority of 8700K's would achieve 5GHz with ease (even if it does require a delid to keep temperatures under control).
Silicon lottery will be releasing Bunning figures soon enough so we will find out soon enough.
Mmmmm buns![]()
Damn mobile! Binning *

Mine too. I've been running it @5ghz 1.35v it does need an AVX offset. I have it at 2 haven't tried 1. I think it would get too hot at 1. With 2, core4 hits 86c core2 89c and the others stay near 80c while running prime95. I haven't tried reducing voltage to see if it stays stable yet. I'm using an EK a240 kit on it.The one I received on Monday from OCUK was spotless and had no sign of being used at all. Except only if OCUK bins the CPUs without cooler and thermal paste![]()
